This album is the culmination of many years of writing and performing. It combines songs both new and old to create an album that I am finally very proud of. Although I had been planning to make this record for a long time, it was only the offer to open for Diana Ross at Blenheim Palace in July of 2005 that gave me a purpose and deadline to get on with actually making the CD.

My challenge was to try and make the best album I could, with almost no budget, no major record company backing and only 9 days to record, mix and master the final product.

So, as this plan started to gain momentum, some incredibly talented and special souls offered to get involved and help me realise this dream.

First of all I needed a band and Riccardi (whom I had been championing for some time) offered to learn my songs and work out all the arrangements. From just piano/guitar live demos and only 3 rehearsals they managed to produce something quite magical.
