Riccardi relaxing at Sphere StudiosWe all arrived on the Saturday morning and worked hard until after lunch getting sounds right, adjusting elements of the drum kit, trying different guitar sounds until we were ready to commence recording.

Riccardi at Sphere StudiosWe had quite a task ahead of us, to record 12 songs in only 4 days (with half a day already gone now). This had to include overdubbing guitar solo's, acoustic guitar parts, harmonies, extra keyboard parts and lead vocal tracks (although many of the "guide" vocals that I did as we recorded the tracks were kept for the final mix).
